Imports

The Import and Export business Stared as part of the expansion plan of HH engineering in 2016. The company has two divisions under it an Import and export division.
We export a wide variety of oil seeds and pulses from different parts of Ethiopia to India, China, Djibouti and Indonesia. The export division is the main source for foreign currency gain. In export business it is our strong believe that we are connecting the world from the smallest farmer to the bigger industries around the world.

To facilitate the export business the company is a member of Ethiopian Commodity Exchange (ECX). The Company also has its own two large storage areas in Addis Ababa and Humera each covering 5000 m2 of land. In addition we have expanded those storage areas to HH Agro Processing & Cleaning Factory, to add quality to export products. We have been able to achieve 10 million dollars on sales in the past year and the profit margin is increasing with the ever-expanding horizon of the import business.

The import division has seen a gradual and successful growth in importing commodities that are in demand in Ethiopia. We mainly import products that are input to our manufacturing and assembly department.
